NoTube promotes itself in June

June has been a busy month for NoTube. While we are still at the start of our project, we delivered the first set of reports and set out to present ourselves at a number of events.

First off, during the European Semantic Web Conference (ESWC) 2009 - which NoTube sponsored - a project matchmaking event organised by the EU and STI International drew 15 projects together to present themselves and to network, including NoTube.

Parallel to this conference focused on semantic technologies, another conference addressing the other key area of NoTube research - digital television - also had a NoTube presence. Our poster and postcards were premiered at the European Interactive Television (EuroITV) conference as seen in the below photo.

Finally, the Semantic Technologies Conference (SemTech) 2009 is the world's largest semantic technology conference with a strong focus on industry. An European Day presented research and development achievements from Europe and NoTube presented itself to the assembled delegates.

This is surely just the beginning as NoTube begins to develop prototypes and deliver results. We look forward to seeing you at one of our future presentations!
